Refund Policy

At Just Desserts Winder, every dessert is baked fresh and often made to order. Because our products are perishable and handcrafted, we follow the guidelines below to ensure fairness and clarity for all customers.

 

All Sales Are Final
Due to the perishable nature of our baked goods, all sales are final.
We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an order has been picked up or delivered.

 

Order Cancellations
•     Standard orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund.
•     Custom cakes, large orders, and specialty items may be canceled up to 72 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery for a partial refund.
•     Cancellations made after the cutoff window are non‑refundable, as ingredients and labor have already been allocated.

 

Deposits for Custom Orders
•     Some custom cakes and large orders require a non‑refundable deposit.
•     Deposits are applied to the final balance but are not refundable once work has begun on the order.

 

Order Issues or Quality Concerns
We take pride in the quality of our desserts. If something isn’t right, please contact us within 24 hours of pickup or delivery.
To help us understand the issue, we may request:
•     A description of the concern
•     Photos of the product
•     The remaining portion of the item, if applicable
After reviewing the situation, we may offer a partial credit or remake at our discretion.
We cannot offer refunds for:
•     Personal taste preferences
•     Items not stored properly after pickup
•     Damage that occurs after the order leaves our shop
•     Missed pickup times

 

Missed Pickups
Orders not picked up on the scheduled date are non‑refundable, as products cannot be resold or reused.

 

Changes to Orders
We will do our best to accommodate changes, but:
•     Changes must be requested at least 48–72 hours in advance, depending on the order.
•     Some changes may not be possible once preparation has begun.
